Starship Titanic

Douglas Adams, along with The Digital Village, published Starship Titanic in 1997. Support for this game (patches et cetera) is still available from the official website.

This game was based on a throwaway line in Life, The Universe And Everything, which mentions the Starship Titanic's maiden voyage somewhere. Douglas thought it was a good idea and when he first became involved with TDV thought he'd make it into a computer game.

His publishers wanted a book of the game, which eventually materialised. It was written by Terry Jones, and the title was Douglas Adams' Starship Titanic. This has been known to confuse, on occasion.
