All three of Douglas Adams’ short stories were originally published The Utterly Utterly Merry Comic Relief Christmas Book.
== Young Zaphod Plays it Safe ==
[::Young Zaphod Plays it Safe] is set in the Hitchhiker's universe, and features a young Zaphod Beeblebrox (duh!) before he became President of the Galaxy. There is an [Young Zaphod Explanation|explanation] of the ending, if you are reading an early publication of the story which doesn’t make it clear.
The story was also published in The Wizards of Odd (ed. Peter Haining), and in some omnibus editions of the Hitchhiker's trilogy. It can also be found in The Salmon of Doubt.
== The Private Life of Genghis Khan ==
[::The Private Life of Genghis Khan] began as a sketch devised by Graham Chapman and written by Chapman and Douglas Adams. It’s also set in the Hitchhiker’s universe because it features a guest appearance by Wowbagger the Infinitely Prolonged.
You can read the story on Douglas Adams’ website. It can also be found in the first edition of The Salmon of Doubt but was removed from later editions by the request of the Graham Chapman estate.
== A Christmas Fairly Story ==
[::A Christmas Fairly Story] was co-written by Terry Jones, has never been republished to my knowledge, and frankly isn’t terribly good. Don’t tell anyone, but you can read it online, at www.zootle.net/afda/fairly-story.txt
