As well as the Hitchhiker's Text Adventure, another computer game was semi-developed, which had new material written by Douglas Adams was in development in glorious 3D. This was started after Douglas had had a go on Super Mario 64 and realised that he liked computer games which were a bit more imaginative than what he described at the time of the text adventure as shooting blobs on a screen.
Sadly, this project faded into the twilight of disappeared games. It passed from TDV to Phase 3 Studios, which is where work stopped. Detailed information on it is available from Planet Magrathea, here, culled from all over the Internet. Images and videos are included.
